BT workers are being encouraged to seek compensation claims against the firm for tinnitus and deafness caused at work.
The Communication Workers Union (CWU) thinks that engineers should seek personal injury claims, after a number of workers lodged compensation claims at Cardiff County Court.
According to union leaders, engineers who have used amplifier tone sets or oscillators in the past are subject to the greatest risk and accuse BT of putting their members negligently at risk.
The CWU has said the workers will be eligible for personal injury compensation if they were given green or green and yellow tone sets to use and may file a claim against the firm.
