Colin Billing – Joint Managing Director

Colin Billing has been a Personal Injury Solicitor since qualifying as a solicitor in 1986 and founded the Personal Injury Department at Camps Solicitors on joining the firm as a partner in 1990. Under Colin’s leadership the Personal Injury Department has grown from just 3 members of staff to a total of over 200 at present.

Colin was a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel for more than a decade and was one of the first Personal Injury Solicitors in the Country to recognise the power of case management systems. Colin developed the firm’s case management systems and guided the firm to LExcel and Investors in People Accreditation at the first attempt in 2002.

Johanne Humphreys – Joint Managing Director

Johanne is a solicitor and was on the Law Society Personal Injury Panel for many years. Johanne joined the firm in 1995 and moved into a full time management role in 2003. From that time her role has continued to encompass marketing, business development, recruitment and strategic planning. During that time the firm has undergone a number of interesting and positive changes that has seen the company go from strength to strength. Johanne is proud of the company achievements and to have been part of a once small company, that has grown to employ now in excess of 200 people .

Colin Gibson – Group Financial and Operations Director

Colin Gibson joined the firm in 2011 as Group Financial and Operations Director.

Alison Saul – Solicitor

Alison studied Law at Liverpool John Moores University obtaining an LLB (Hons) Degree in 1997. Alison then studied for the Legal Practice Course at The Chester College of Law. Upon leaving The College of Law in 1998, she commenced work with Camps Solicitors where she qualified as a Solicitor in 2000.

Lynda Savarizadeh – Client Care Solicitor

Lynda is the firm’s Client Care Solicitor, her role involves monitoring the quality and client care procedures to make sure all our clients are satisfied with the way we run their claims. In the rare event that someone wishes to make a complaint, Lynda will be the person who investigates their complaint and she will work with the other members of staff to address any problems that may have arisen.

Anthony Wilson – Professional Support Lawyer

Anthony joined the firm in 2009 as our Professional Support Lawyer.

Garry Coghlan – Associate Solicitor

Garry studied medieval history at the University of St. Andrews where he emerged with an MA (Hons) in 1985. After attending Manchester Polytechnic he qualified as a solicitor in 1992. Since joining Camps Solicitors he has practised exclusively in the field of civil litigation.

Gareth Kinvig – Associate Solicitor

Gareth studied law at Middlesex University of London, before completing his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. Gareth joined the firm in 1999 and was admitted as a Solicitor in January 2002. During his time with the firm Gareth has worked in the Personal Injury, Conveyancing and Employer’s Liability departments. Gareth has a particular interest in Credit Hire Litigation and Advocacy.

Currently Gareth is leads a team of other fee earners and support staff in one of the firms largest departments, dealing primarily with RTA cases as well as accidents in the workplace and public liability claims. In 2007 Gareth passed several assessments to become the firm’s representative on the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.

Ged Jones – Associate Solicitor

Ged graduated from Liverpool University in 1997 with a B.A. (Hons) degree in English Literature and History. He then went on to complete the Common Professional Examination and the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law.

Recently Ged has completed the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers Certificate in Law, which involved a three year programme of assessments and examinations. He has also represented the firm as a panellist on Legal TV, a phone in legal advice show on Sky. As well as representing Camps on a national level, Ged writes legal updates for local newspapers as well as contributing to the firms own website/newsletter.

Jodie Hudson – Associate Solicitor

Jodie studied law and completed her postgraduate Legal Practice Certificate at Liverpool John Moores University. After working for another local firm of solicitors, Jodie joined Camps, and qualified as a solicitor in 2006. Jodie now works as an associate solicitor within the firm, in charge of her own team.

Marie Donnelly – Associate Solicitor

Marie studied for her LLB (Hons) at Liverpool University and completed her Legal Practice Certificate at Nottingham Law School where she received a commendation. After spending a year working in a Liverpool based solicitors, Marie joined Camps in 2004 and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. She currently heads a team of staff working in our road traffic accident claims department.

Andrew Smith Associate Solicitor

Andy read Politics and European Studies Liverpool John Moores University, before going to Huddersfield University to study Law. He qualified in February 2008 as a solicitor after previously working for another law firm as a court clerk. Andy says his goal is to get as much compensation as possible for his clients.

Marcus Doxey – Associate Solicitor

Marcus joined the firm in 2010 as an Associate Solicitor in our personal injury department.

Nina Williams – Associate Solicitor

Nina joined Camps in September 2009, working alongside the other solicitors in our personal injury claims department. After studying Business and Finance at Staffordshire University, Nina decided to go into law. She studied for a law conversion course at Chester Law College and obtained her LPC from the same institution. Nina qualified as a solicitor in February 2007.

Kathryn Langton – Associate Solicitor

Kathryn joined Camps in December 2009 from another local firm of solicitors. As part of the personal injury team Kathryn deals with workplace accident claims, public liability claims, occupiers’ liability claims and industrial disease cases. She has also worked on cases covering all aspects of Civil Litigation, including contractual disputes, personal injury claims and financial litigation.

Sara Nasserabadi – Associate Solicitor

Sara studied Law at Lancaster University and completed her Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law. After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2009 Sara worked at a large Liverpool firm where she worked as part of the defence team in Clinical Negligence, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims. Sara joined Camps in the Summer of 2010 and now works on behalf of claimants in Employer’s Liability, Occupier’s Liability, Public Liability and Industrial Disease claims.
